We are Manpower Development Company (MDC) providing human resources services in Vietnam. Executive Search and Payroll Services being supplied to our current clients are MDC’s core HR services. We would like to introduce you an interesting and challenging job as below:
Our client, a well-known company specialized in cruise services, is urgently looking for a Chief Accountant to support the company’s business growth. The detailed job description is as below:

Line of Reporting: Managing Director (expatriate)
Location: Ho Chi Minh City
Salary: $1800 or more based on qualifications ​</div>
1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the overall finance and accounting system of the company:
+ Review and standardize the existing accounting procedures
+ Develop Standard Operating Procedures of the Accounting Department, abiding by the company’s guidelines
+ Prepare monthly accounting and financial reports
+ Develop and improve accounting system for suitable with company growing
+ Prepare financial sales analysis to support sales strategy
+ Audit at least once per year and set up an internal audit system for greater transparency and accountability
+ Ensure correct bank account transactions and all payment vouchers, and abided by the law
- Manage cash flow and find suitable solutions for short term unused money;
- Manage local tax with local authority;
- Recruit and manage the work allocation in the Accounting Department.

2. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Three- year experience in the same position with Chief Accountant degree;
- Excellent management skills including time management, problem solving, training and coaching skills;
- Working experience in travel industry;
- Excellent communications and negotiation skills in both English and Vietnamese;
- Good understanding about Western culture and customers’ mentality;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Ability to work after hours if required due to urgent tasks;
- Software literate, Smile Software;
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, and PowerPoint)
